Performance Task
DAY 1 (25 minutes):

DAY 6/RETURN TO DAY 2 (25 minutes):
- The learning community is given digital access to all unit materials (see HOME page).
- The learning community selects 4 genres (out of the 9 offered for perusal) and orders them into a learning progression (see LEARNING PROGRESSION page).
DAY 2 (25 minutes):
- I support the decisions of the learning community. by devising a mixed-ability grouping and assign parts for song #1/4 to each student.
- Students begin to practice their parts independently.
DAY 3 (25 minutes):
- I facilitate full-ensemble practice for the learning community (see WORK SAMPLE page).
- The learning community recommends and completes modifications before a summative performance.
DAY 4 (25 minutes):
- Full-ensemble performance by the learning community. utilizing audio/video recording
- Students are summatively assessed utilizing the rubric (see RUBRIC page).
DAY 6/RETURN TO DAY 2 (25 minutes):
- The learning community returns to tasks for "Day 2" and completes the process again, this time for song #2/4, and so on.
- At the completion of the unit in its entirety, students complete a reflection and unit feedback form (see UNIT EVALUATION page).
